Detailed Product Description
The system is one of RADI’s High Energy X-ray inspection systems that features mobile, gantry, portal and fixed deployment configurations. The system can inspect cars and vans and has been installed for use by military, customs and border protection agencies for:
illegal Drugsillegal ImmigrantsWeapons and Explosives, including car and truck bombsRadioactive Threats, including nuclear devices and dirty bombsSmuggled goods, such as alcohol, tobacco products, and other legal goods smuggled to evade duties (trade fraud)Shielding to conceal radioactive materialsThe car and vehicle inspection system can be deployed to scan cars and vans. An automated car conveyor which is made of four sections is composed with the X-ray screening system. Drivers drive their cars onto the conveyor and then walk to the exit waiting for their cars carried out by the conveyor in about 30 seconds, that’s the procedure of the whole detection. Drivers are totally isolated from X-ray exposure in this system. That’s our purpose: Secure the homeland, protect the people.
RADI has been awarded contracts to provide Saudi Arabia Customs with 12 sets high energy X-ray car screening systems.
